Memphis is home to one of the largest public parks in the United States. Shelby Farms covers some 4,500 acres. It is a wonderful place to go for a long walk, cycle on the 40 miles of bike trails, paddle board, or bird watch. There is even a small resident herd of buffalo. I really enjoyed painting these two members of the herd. Though this painting sold quickly, I am considering making giclee prints of it...
